The world's 1st social networking matrimonial site!
Check out this website called Youpid. This site claims to to be the world's 1st social networking matrimonial website. The concept is pretty cool. You log in through your facebook credentials. The search algorithms search for single status people in your or your contact's network and show it to you. You can then get yourself introduced to the single person through the contact. More like Linkedin. Neat.

Google creates buzz!!
So search giant Google is back in news again (are they ever off it?). This time with their take on social networking platform. Their platform, appropriately called The Buzz is making news. Personally I am a bit skeptical about it at this stage. I quite didn't like the interaction and the UI but it's too early to comment about it as it's still in beta stage and with constant user feedback, I am sure they will add more features & fixes. By biggest sore point is that it's not compatible with Facebook ( I smell a rat here - after all, Microsoft never liked Google).
Buzz has already created a buzz amongst Gmail users. As this story confirms, it has crossed 9 million posts & comments within 4 days of its launch. Read more to find out.
